Michael Branch, a Lake Mary doctor, was instructed by local police to properly dispose of patient records found in a dumpster outside of his office. When asked by WFTV 9 Eyewitness News, Branch stated that, “It’s office stuff… old records. I’m just going to shred everything.” Police are investigating to determine whether or not patient privacy has been compromised.
